Charity Fashion That’s Really Growing On Us

It’s been a busy month for most of the men at home james and home marketing but the hard work certainly paid off with some noticeable results. Just in time for the cold weather many of the blokes were sporting some serious top-lip warmers.

Thankfully this wasn’t in the name of fashion, instead a select bunch decided to grow their ‘taches for charity. Over £150 was raised under the name of Movember, the charity event that aims to raise awareness and money for Prostate Cancer.

Raffles and Regular Donations

Online campaign executive, Josh Bennett, was the driving force behind the ‘tache growing marathon which managed to appeal to eleven of the blokes initially. Despite some promising trim designs a few fell by the wayside leaving a motley crew of eight left fighting for the honour of ‘best’ moustache.

Throughout the month, regular donations were made from everyone involved with the company and a midmonth raffle proved a great hit – even if the prizes were a little questionable.

As the month reached a conclusion, the inevitable judging of handlebars, wispy top-lip stubble, and pencil thin ‘taches was provided by those best positioned to judge - the girls! Following a dignity sapping few minutes a king of the ‘taches was chosen. It was felt that Senior Campaign Manager, Dom Barry's Magnum PI meets biker 'tache was the best.

A huge thank you and well done to everyone who got involved and donated and a special thank you to Josh for taking the time to organise this. Bring on next year!
