More Clicks with Bing than Google

There is a sort of transitional air about the search market at the moment with the Yahoo! and Bing alliance growing at pace and Bing itself eating into Google’s dominance.

This sentiment has been strengthened by the findings of Chitika, the research website who are reporting that Bing generates almost 50% more clicks than Google. This could be major news indeed, if it does appear to be the case that the ‘decision engine’ Bing is proving to be more profitable for users.

Almost 50% More Clicks Than Google

In recent months we have seen Bing eating into Google’s market share and these findings would suggest that Microsoft’s search engine is growing at a rapid rate.

The information outlined in the graph below is determined by the likelihood that a user will click on a call to action, based on 15 million impressions.
