Adding new content to social media marketing

With the rise in popularity of Web 2.0 ongoing, many firms are turning to a social media marketing campaign to attract new consumers.

And one commentator has offered some advice on how to add fresh content to a social media profile, particularly when juggling multiple profiles for the purpose of a marketing agenda.

In a blog for Search Engine Journal, William Atkin said keeping a number of different profile updated can be difficult but that new content could be added with more ease via an RSS feed, Twitter account or blog.

He suggested that organisations look at Hellotxt to help them achieve this and keep their web content up to date - which could help to boost search engine optimisation.

The BBC recently reported that the Labour party is to focus more on a search engine marketing campaign and has hired Kerry McCarthy, MP for Bristol East, to work on improving this.
