There may just be one week left to go until the public can use Microsoft's new search engine, which several commentators have speculated will be called Bing.
Greg Sterling, in a post for Search Engine Land, claims that the name is likely to be unveiled at this week's AllThingsD conference, while the public should be able to use it following next week's SMX Advanced conference.
When it comes to marketing the new tool, Mr Sterling suggests that the bottom line will be user experience, which will, in turn, generate positive word of mouth.
He adds that there is now not long to go until users can find out what Bing will deliver.
Meanwhile, in a blog for PC World, JR Raphael explained that the bing.co.uk domain was updated in March to indicate that it is owned by the Microsoft Corporation, suggesting that it is the most likely choice of name for the software provider's new search engine name.
