Converting non-users

While some businesses may currently be looking to get more from their existing customers in order to boost their revenue, one commentator has claimed that they could be looking towards converting other users.

Peter D, in a blog for SEO Book, said that "slicing an offer finely" in order to tailor a service to better fit the needs of existing customers was one way to increase revenue, but that discovering why some users are not buying a product or using a service could also prove useful.

He adds that there may be common factors between these non-customers that could be investigated, particularly if they are also not buying a competitor's product.

Mr D notes that search engine optimisation (SEO) is a service that all businesses could benefit from.

"There is a huge, huge market for SEO services. Everyone could be doing better in the search engines," he states.

SEO Book's Aaron Wall recently claimed that SEO is a tool that can be used to make a quality business model profitable.
