Google has made enhancements to its new Search-based Keyword Tool, which may have a positive effect on search engine optimisation.
Writing on the Google blog, Dan Friedman explains that the tool examines the content of a website to match it against the Google search queries.
This provides website owners with a list of "highly relevant" actively-search keywords to use as reference when it comes to compiling their own content and links.
Following its successful launch, the tool is now available in Australia, Canada, China, Japan and New Zealand.
Furthermore, users can now select the currency relevant to them to see suggested bids on the settings page.
Additional new features designed to enable improved customisation include language and country specific results and ad or search share filters, Mr Friedman explains.
Earlier in the week, Google announced the launch of its new tool Profile Results.
Users searching for a specific name will now see up to four Google user profiles displayed along with their regular search results.
