It's all change at Yahoo! as this week Yahoo! Connected Life chief Marco Boerries resigned his position, ahead of chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen who also stepped down.
During the latter part of 2008, co-founder Jerry Yang stepped down following months of discussions with Microsoft over a potential merge of Yahoo's search service which finally collapsed.
The search for his replacement ended in January when it was announced that Carol Bartz would take over as chief executive officer.
In the official Yahoo! Yodel blog, Ms Bartz announced yesterday (February 26th) that she was to begin rolling out the new management structure, which she hoped would make the firm "faster on its feet".
Noting that this would mean things getting simpler, she added: "We'll be able to make speedier decisions, the notorious silos are gone and we have a renewed focus on the customer."
Search Engine Land's Greg Sterling claimed that Mr Jorgensen's resignation had come as "something of a surprise".
