What businesses want?

The culture of the internet is that people want information now and they want it quickly, it has been claimed.
As a result, Martin Warner, chief executive officer and co-founder of business networking platform Talkbiznow.com, has said that organisations should make use of such websites to deliver users the information they want in the quickest time possible.
"The marketplace is all about giving people an experience and helping them shape the way they sell their products and services," he added.
Mr Warner explained that social media was fast, with a "very quick" upload time and that firms would find they did not have the same overheads when using it that they did when running a website.
He concluded that a marketplace was adjacent to the community, with the network sitting inside the concept of an online workplace.
And social media appears to be paying off for businesses, as a recent survey by BT Tradespace revealed 15 per cent of companies are now promoted on social networking sites compared to just seven per cent at the beginning of 2008.
