The tasks that need to be carried out to run an effective search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign and the best way of doing them are considerations that are constantly evolving, according to one sector commentator.
Writing on the pages of online resource SEOmoz, Duncan Morris claims that starting from scratch on each process is "fantastic" from a creativity point of view but from the perspective of management and consistency, it can be a "nightmare".
So the key to a successful campaign may be keeping in mind all of these perspectives, he adds.
This means that newly created processes should be listed and adapted for the future for constant review, Mr Morris states.
"SEO is often about trying something, measuring its effect, refining the process and trying something else. Spending the time to look back over a number of projects allows you to spot trends that you might otherwise miss," he noted.
Meanwhile, following last month's terrorist attack in Mumbai, India is seeking its high court to call for sensitive locations mapped on Google Earth to be censored, Search Engine Land reports.
