George Foreman

PPC Campaign Returns Tasty Profits for George Foreman

Yorkshire based search marketing agency hômejames has helped global brand George Foreman, renowned for its iconic lean mean grilling machine, achieve the highest online sales in the company’s history.

George Foreman, part of Salton Europe, appointed hômejames in November 2009 to provide paid search marketing to raise awareness of the website, appeal to new markets and increase revenue. As a direct result sales have soared exponentially. Not only has revenue increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2007-2008, but since working with the agency George Foreman has also reduced its online spend by more than two thirds.

Having reduced costs by two-thirds, Home James have also increased online revenues by 27%.

As part of the strategy hômejames completed an audit of the existing site to enhance its conversion potential and increase sales volume. The team used dedicated tools and applied their expert knowledge to ensure the site maximised every sales opportunity and the results were astonishing.

The Commercial Director at Salton Europe said: “Pay Per Click has performed over and above our expectations. Selling directly gives any brand a higher margin but the increase in revenue over the last few months has been phenomenal – we’re spending less than ever before and our ROI has rocketed. hômejames has really impressed with their sharp insight, timely actions and shrewd advice.”

Michael Ward, MD, hômejames, comments: “It’s no secret that the online retail sector has suffered as a result of the current climate. Our brief was to develop a strategy that would directly impact on George Foreman’s bottom line, defying the market downturn. We drew on our unique search marketing knowledge to develop a campaign that would go above & beyond and the results speak for themselves.”
